AMC is pulling Chris Hardwick’s talk show after abuse allegations

On Thursday, actress Chloe Dykstra published a post on Medium detailing abuse allegations about an ex-boyfriend, which many have speculated was about Nerdist founder and TV and podcast host Chris Hardwick. AMC, which was set to broadcast Talking with Chris Hardwick this weekend, announced that it won’t air the series “while we assess the situation.”

Hardwick has hosted a number of programs for AMC, such as after shows Talking Bad (for Breaking Bad), Talking Saul (for Better Call Saul), Talking Preacher (for Preacher) and The Talking Dead (for The Walking Dead). Mozilla Firefox is testing out two new experimental extensions that let users further customize their browser and view tabs together more easily. The first one is called Firefox Color and it lets you change the colors of the background, text, icons, and the toolbar. Whatever you change can be saved and you can also choose to share your color schemes with others. Uber and Lyft confirm that they want to expand to offer electric scooters

Uber wants a permit to operate e-scooters in San Francisco, the company confirmed to The Verge . Scooters would be added to the Uber fleet alongside ride-sharing cars and bikes supplied by the bike-sharing startup Jump, which Uber acquired in April. Lyft has also said that it’s applied for permits for electric scooters in San Francisco, but the company currently doesn’t have a scooter or bike operation. It’s reportedly in talks to buy bike-sharing company Motivate. The city announced new regulations for scooters and a permit process at the end of May.
